Our trip to the beach!

Oh wow, I forgot how much fun the beach is. After our Frisbee event, Dad had to drive to the big city (SF) to pick up some samples for his new job out there. We ended up right by the beach so Mom and Dad took us for a romp!!!

Here is my sister, the miracle cancer fighting Vizsla - walking on water...almost anywayMom and Dad took a bet on which Vizsla would chase the birds first. Ha, Mom won. If you look close the bird is right above my head!! I almost caught him! We wore Mom and Dad out playing fetch! I was the Ultimate Queen of the Stick!

Frisbee Photos

The "official photographer" sent mom these great photos of us playing yesterday!

Frisbee Season has arrived!

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO The first Frisbee Play day was today!!
Here I am "patiently" waiting my turn...ha ha ha

video

Today was Flirtie's Frisbee Debut. Since she's only 12 months old Mom won't let Dad throw high ones for her that often. But we were all impressed that she came back to Dad and didn't run off. Good job Sis!
video

My sister Kiana even did a good job for a 10 year old with lymphoma to boot! Dr. Gabby told us that she is not in remission any more so Mom was very happy to see her playing and having fun.

video

But as usual, I was the BEST of the BEST..not that anyone's counting!!! And yes I did ignore my Dad and run over to Mom to say hi. I had to show her my Frisbee!

Faster than a speeding bullet

ok maybe not, but almost as fast as a MACH ADCH CATCH Dog!!! Mom was so excited to take me to agility class last night. She's nutty, but I'm glad, we have so much fun!! When we got there, nobody was there but us...I ran over and jumped right into Miss Donna's lap. I was having fun until I saw that look in Mom's eye...the one that comes just before I get into trouble.

Everybody else was sick or injured so Mom and I got a private lesson in Snooker! Miss Donna showed us how to run the toughest course for the most points. Miss Donna and Chance flew through the course in 44.5 seconds, with 4 sets of 12 weave poles. Boy, that Chance is a speed demon. Then it was our turn. Miss Donna said we could run an easier course, but Mom and I were up for the challenge. Mom had to get a LONG lead out, across the whole length of the course and I had to run by the TEETER and the TIRE to get to her without doing them!! I was on fire...mission accomplished, I swooshed through all 12 weave poles, went over the jump turned left (even tho Mom said Right...dumb lady) swooshed back through all 12 poles over the other jump and went right (good job Mom - she said Right this time) and back through all 12 poles again. Then we whizzed through the main course tire, tunnel, jump, jump, far end of the tunnel (mom almost lost me in the close end but at the last minute I listened to her), teeter and 12 more weage poles...in 51 seconds!! Mom was so excited. That is only 7 seconds slower than MACH ADCH CATCH Chance and Miss Donna!

Watch out agility world....here we come!!

Busy Busy Busy

I have been keeping mom very busy with my antics. She is very glad we get to go to agility class again tonight. Dad bought Flirtie a new toy, but I have decided IT IS MY DUCK MINE MINE MINE...I spend all day and night teasing her. Mom says I am giving her lots of gray hairs with my antics!!!

It's a Bird, it's a Plane...

it's the Leapin'Lizard!!! I finally got to play Frisbee again yesterday! I didn't have to sit and cry and watch Mom have fun with my sisters!! I like to try to catch every Frisbee my mom throws even it it means doing flipping somersaults so Mom said when we had puppies NO FRISBEE...but no puppies, means YES LOTS of Frisbee!!! See it's not so bad after all.

The Countdown is over

I got to see Dr. C yesterday. She gave me cookies and then made me lay in a cradle on my back while she put some goo on my belly and a big wand. Over and over and over she went on my belly. Then she said something to mom and mom looked sad. They tried again and again, but mom says there are no puppies in my belly. Thankfully I still got more cookies after the visit.

I know mom is sad, but I'm ok with it. I got to go back to agility last night!!! I made mom proud. She has not practiced with me at all and she thought for sure I would embarass her. Nope, I held my stay and a long lead out AND FLEW through all 12 weave poles like a CHAMP!! I was the only one to do all 12!!! Yep, I'm still Gabalicious!

Day 26 - Patience is a virtue

Sigh, my mom she sure is a crazy lady. She's running around all excited because we get to go visit Dr. C again tomorrow afternoon to see if I really do have puppies in my belly for sure. She is so excited! You'd think she was the one having puppies!!

Maybe mom should get a sleepie. Maybe I should loan her one of mine. It might give her something to do. See here I am just chilling with my sister, sucking on my sleepie. It's all good.

Day 25 - Belly Update

Today is torture day....Mom felt a belly update was necessary. Mom chased me around the house for an hour trying to get a pic of my belly, ha ha I didn't cooperate. Then my Dad came home and it was hug time. I was TRICKED...it was a dasterdly plan to get pictures of my belly!
Dad gave me a hug to make me feel better!!!

Day 24 - Fair Warning

I think you will all agree that I've given my mom fair warning that I am HUNGRY. I NEED FOOD!!! Please mom give me more food. Well, she didn't listen so I took matters into my own hands. I had an after breakfast snack this morning.

Yep, that was part of the wall of my bedroom. But hey it is MY BEDROOM and as Miss Deb says I get to decorate it how I want to.

Mom (aka NFM - the NO FUN MOM) sprayed some bitter apple on it and now it isn't so tasty. But I have 3 other walls to choose from!

My Dad's lap is clearly MY PLACE..It's MY SPOT and nobody else's!!! See how well we fit together!!!

Day 21 - Counting counting counting

I borrowed mom's calculator this morning. If I am at day 21 of possible puppies and they only grow for 63 days...doesn't that mean that I would be 1/3 of the done already assuming there are little munchkins in me??? If so....what I to know is

WHERE'S THE FOOD!!! Don't pregnant women get to eat more and more and more and more and more?????

Day 16 - Hooligans Unite

Today I'd like to give a special shout out to my sister Kiana again for a clean bill of health today! Mom took her to see the wise Dr. Gabby today..how can she not be WISE with name like that!! Dr. Gabby says Kiana is still in 100% remission.

Ah...let the hooliganess begin. I have dragged her over to the dark side...just look at us being hooligans last year!!! Mom doesn't let us do this inside anymore know that we have nice grass outside and not hard dirt...but it sure is fun!!!

Day 15 - A nose for FOOD!

Today, Mom surprised me and took JUST ME out for a nice run!!!! I'm the QUEEN!!!! I demonstrated my keen hunting abilities....by finding FOOD - ok maybe just some crumbs!!! A good hunting dog knows the best place to find food is under the bleachers!!!!
Hey, I might be eating for 6 or 8 or 10 even!! You never know! I better be prepared just in case. Since Mom won't let me in the pantry, I've taken matters into my own hands.

Torture

LOOK at what they are doing to me! Mom now has Dad involved too! Somebody help me!! Are they going to do this for 49 more days??? HELP ME...

I keep telling mom I don't know if I have puppies and it's too soon to check my belly...but she INSISTS on it. Crazy lady!

Day 14 - A Case for Sherlock Holmes

Today started off as always these days.

Mom: Gabby, are you pregnant?

Me: ignoring, waggging, give me food give me food give me food

Mom: Gabby do you have puppies?

Me: giving up dragging sleepie off to suck.

Mom got all ready to leave but guess what, ha ha ha she couldn't find my sleepie. So the new conversation:

Mom: Gabby where's your sleepie?

Me: wag wag wag give me food give me food

Mom: Gabby WHERE IS YOUR SLEEPIE?

Me: I tried the food look again but no luck. Mom looked in every room, nope, no sleepie to be found. FINALLY, tada....look where I left it. I forgot I took it with me on my squirrel patrol this morning. Ha ha, made mom late!

Day 13 - To be or not to be....

To be or not to be pregnant. That's the million dollar question. Mom asks me every single day at least 50 times a day!!!! And now she's taking pictures of my belly!!!!
Hey, that' not my good side!!! Mom thinks she can see a teeny tiny pooch there, but then again since she didn't check carefully before I saw Owe'n, she's could be just a crazy food lady imaginging things! What do you think??

NOW and at Christmas (or is that too obvious)

Day 12 - Freedom

Spring is in the Air!!!! Today was a beautiful sunny day! Mom took us all out for a nice romp! It's about time!!! Look at me go! Ha ha, can't catch me!!

Day 11 - To Catch a Thief

Today, Mom realized that "somebody" figured out how to open the pantry...hee hee, as you can imagine that somebody was me!! In my defense, mom should know by now that I am brilliant!!! It's all part of being Gabalicious!

And speaking of thieves, I'd like to give a shout out to my dad for helping catch a real thief today. Mom and dad were walking into Safeway when it looked like a lady was being kidnapped or a car was being stolen. Lots of screaming and yelling and nobody was helping them. My dad ran over to save the lady. It turns out it was not actually a kidnapping or a car jack but some liquor thieves. But I still think my dad was very brave to help out! The thief fought and fought and fought but dad was strong enough to hang on and help the guard get him handcuffed and back in the store.

Here's a hug and kiss for you dad!
