S is for still sick

Mom is still sick but slowly getting better. We are BORED. I have been trying to get Leo and Emma to play but they run when I chirp. Leo let Flirtie kiss him twice tho. Stupid cat doesn't he know I'm the FUN ONE?? They went to see the vet on Friday and Mom said now they can't have kittens for sure and are finally on their way to being healthy again. All they've done is sleep since then. Everyone is BORING!

Mom says she hopes to go back to work Monday. She got my fancy photos in the mail today from our last agility trial! Arguing with Mom about stopping at the table.

B for Bronchitis

Well Mom has really done it now - she has bronchitis. She's been home and not even entertaining me. I am so bored! At least Flirtie and I got to run and chase tennis balls on Sunday in between mom's sleeping and my runs!

Just What the Doctor Ordered

Mom is on day 10 of being sick and very sad and scared now. Flirtie and I took care of her ysterday tho. She slept in between our runs, but she said maybe she should have stayed home all together.

A for Effort

Both Mom and I get an A for Effort today. No Qs but boy we were close!

Here is where Mom gets an A+. Notice I got my weave entrance the first time. but popped out just at the end. Mom tried to save the day by putting me back in where I came out...but she didn't realize it was the wrong pole until she finished our run. Then she ran the rest of the run with me on the wrong side of her!

PS My Dad says he is sorry for the cuss words but he knows how hard mom and I have been practicing.

Progress not Perfection

is one of Mom's mottos. That's a good thing because I made PROGRESS on my weaves and mom was NOT perfection running me today - she made me knock 2 bars and got lost once. I think the flu sucked out some of her working brain cells. We did have a lot of fun tho..if you look close you can see I jumped on mom at the weave poles.

Here we are in our second run. Miss Donna would have been so happy she is always telling mom at class to stop and celebrate the victories no matter when they are in your run! And mom did! She screamed GOOD JOB after I did all 12 poles and did a little dance...then she got lost and ended up on the wrong side of the 2nd jump after the weaves

Play Time

Well my mom still has what she calls the flu. All I know is that means she doesn't PLAY with me. That was the source of my frustration yesterday. The toy I WANTED was on the ledge! 8 other toys were on the floor but I wanted that toy!!
Dilemma solved!
Mom says with the flu it is easier to play with Leo and Emma since she can lay on the bed and wiggle the furry toy or shoot the laser gun. The laser gun has been feeling lonely since Sister Kiana went to heaven. She was the a Master Ch Laser Dot Chaser....she must be sending some vibes to Emma and Leo.

Fitting right in!

What...say it isn't so...they TALK...just like me!

Who is louder???? Can you tell I am frustrated!

And we can't leave Flirtie out!

Chillin

Chillin with my homies...ok not really with them. But Leo and Emma are adapting really well. They are learning to live the life of a Vizsla...ON THE BED of course.
I got very close to meeting Emma. She didn't know I was out...but she heard me CHIRP...boy can cats jump high! I am still impatiently waiting to play with them. Mom still has the flu which means everyone is bored.

Funny Looking Friends

Mom and Dad brought home some funny looking friends named Leo and Emma.

Their first steps in our home...wondering where the heck they are!! That's Leo in front and Emma in back.

Leo found a nice cozy basket to settle in.

Emma still not so sure she wants to be here!

Hello Hello...here I am trying to say hello!!

Here I am being impatient!

And Sister Flirt being perfectly patient making ME look bad.

Mom says the Leo is 16-18 months and Emma is 10-12 months and she is already a Mom. Mom rescued them from the 2nd set of owners so they don't get bred and bred and bred and bred. She says if they like us, they can stay! Kitties of my own FINALLY!

Introducing PRECIOUS - the most coveted toy in the house (other than the Frisbee). We will do ANYTHING to get PRECIOUS

THROW IT!!!!

Please don't take my precious!

Notice Sister Flirt has TWO...Sister Flirt does NOT like to bring the PRECIOUS back to mom so she has been working with two of them. Guess Mom got outsmarted!

Flirt 1 Weaves 0

Does one of these poles NOT look like the others?

The missing piece...she broke it right off the base!

No wonder...look at her speed. She pushes the poles out of her way...silly Doberman!

Mom says I'm not as fast tho...WHAT someone faster than me? She must be crazy! I am much more graceful! Watch closely at the end...VERY CLOSELY...I can't believe mom posted that!

Yes, the ball bounced right off my nose, but the sun was in my eyes!

Me and Flirt on her first day home (Can you believe she was 22 lbs at 10 weeks!)

A Day at the Dog Show

and I got to go! Woot woot! Mom left Flirtie at home with her tug n jug and took me down to the dog show to say hello to everyone today and to see my son show!! I was so happy to see him...until he jumped on my head. And jumped and jumped and jumped and boinged at me. Mom says I just forgot that I used to do the same thing to my mom also! Puppies are just silly.

I finally got to meet Miss Erin, the dynamic show handler and she gave me treats! I wuff her!! And boy does she make my son look good. But mom said today, he was not the judge's "cup of tea". We got a blue ribbon but didn't win anything else. The same nice dog won from yesterday, but I bet he isn't half as silly and chirpy as my son! He takes after me that way.

Here he is hanging with Miss Erin in the ring.

Holy Moly

The scene...NO XPENS.....

Drum roll please - here comes Flirt

Mom is very excited, but as usually she moved too fast too soon...it appears Flirtie can only do them without pens in one direction, but we're all very proud of her.

Somebody has a Brain!

Woot Woot for Sister Flirt! Notice 1 side of the xpen is gone. Mom is soooo happy!

And me, of course, cuz it's all about me me me

Bridesmaid

Mom went to watch my son at the dog show today. He needs 4 more points to finish his Championship. There were enough dogs for 4 points and he beat everyone BUT one dog....that makes him reserve (or the bridesmaid). Mom was pretty proud of him tho.

We did get to celebrate a NEW Champion in females tho. Kiana's niece took Winners and best of winners for 4 points and finished today. And she was bred by Miss Pam, who is so much fun and nice too! http://www.reddawnvizslas.blogspot.com/

Flirtie got to play show dog today too. Miss Erin says she's doing good but skinny. If she gets more food, SO DO I!

The Goal

Mom's goal this weekend is to get 1 whole side of the xpens down. Sister Flirt is holding us back!! I say kick her out of the progam - give me more give me more. I have yet to convince mom of that yet.

This is where we are tonight. The problem is Sister Flirt forgets how to do them when we start a new session and Mom has to move them close and then out and then close and then out. She says this is a lesson in patience.

Ha, Mom still is babysitting the entrance for Flirtie:

And me me me weave machine!
