Mending Hearts

Ru-roh...I think Mom and Dad's hearts are broken right now. I got a plan together with Sister Flirt to mend their hearts with cuddles and love. Sister Flirtie....

Saying Goodbye

Mom and Dad are very sad today. They are going to give my sister Kiana peace from this awful disease called cancer. So many tears. I've been giving them so many hugs today. I wish could take their pain away. I let Sister Kiana borrow my sleepie to rest her tired head on. Dr. Gabby is going to meet them at 6 pm tonight and Kiana will begin a new journey.

This is how Dad found us last night. I am doing a very good job of taking care of Sister and Mom. I cuddled with them both and sent them lots of strength.

Snugglin

Mom said the only agenda for the weekend is Snugglin with her girls. Drats, this weekend was supposed to be all about me and agility. Mom thinks it might be our last weekend with Sister Kiana so we stayed home instead. Mom has been doing this all day!

As you can see Sister Kiana is a Champion Snuggler - here she is with Dad. I prefer to be running 90 mph or chirping in Mom's face but I'm giving her break today.

The Most Beautiful Girl iin the World

Yep, I bet you thought you'd see a picture of me being Gabalicious and all! Nope, today we are appreciating my sister's beauty. Mom got new Fancy Fotos from Miss Meg and look what she did! My sis Kiana is tumor free in the photos!! Look at how happy Mom is to be there with her!!! Shout out to Miss Meg from Callea Photos...you are the BEST!

I got a day after birthday bonus present MORE SQUIRRELS to chase this morning WOOHOO.....I also got to eat my sister's leftover breakfast. I snuck it down before Mom came into the kitchen. Mom was very sad Sister wasn't as hungry as usual this morning so I scarfed it down and then gave her a big hug.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME and MY SON!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME...yep, I am 5 years old today and my son is ONE!! Mom thinks the rest of my brains just might arrive soon!!! I had the best surprise this morning. Mom got up early with me and we went outside to play and she got me a.......SQUIRREL just for me to scream and chirp at. Thank you Mom thank you!! What a great way to start my birthday!!

Uh oh...I got the look, mom was not happy with my chirping at 6 am but I chased the squirrel off..then I saw mom had my FRISBEE! Woohoo a bonus morning, squirrels and Frisbee. This is how much I like my frisbee!!

Wait a minute...I think I was tricked, before Mom would throw it she said I had to weave? What kind of craziness is this?? Fine zoommmmmmmmmm shoot mom noticed I ran by most of the poles.....and she made me do it again! Mom also learned I am mostly allergic to weaves when I am on her left side, not her right side.

Since it my birthday, thought I'd share about how I became Gabalicious! ....here I am at 8 weeks 2 days before Mom came to get me

And I cannot forget...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SON, DYLAN. Here he is just 1 day old!!!

Weekend Photos

So I bet you are all wondering why mom didn't post any great action shots of me doing agility this weekend....that's a very sore subject with mom since dad lost the yet another camera in just one month!! I don't think I've ever seen mom's face get so red before!!!

So you'll just have to wait for the fancy fotos to get developed!

Jackpot

Day 2 of our agility trial and when mom got there she found a nice surprise. Her and dad won FOUR of the raffle prizes, about $50 worth of YUMMY treats and toys ALL FOR ME...then today they won 4 more. That made mom very happy since we went 0 for 6 all weekend. Today was her fault, I really was doing all 12 poles and she stopped so I stopped and came out at 10.

Mom bought another fancy foto too!

Distance Queen

Today was day 1 of our agility trial this weekend. As mom thought, I am still allergic to 12 weave poles. I can only do 10 or maybe 11 and skip a pole....mom says we are going back to square one wherever that is until we get it right. Mom had to admit I was a dynamo on my Jumpers course except for those weaves! Flying in motion mom even got her left and rights out in time!

Mom almost skipped our FAST class. This is the distance challenge and between you and me, mom sucks at teaching distance. It was a send to the teeter (#6), then the tunnel (#3) AND finally a jump (#4). I made mom proud because I sent all the way to the teeter and tunnel before she accidentally stepped over the line and then the timer went out. We were just 1 jump away from qualifying and only 1 other dog made it!! Here is my dyanmic distance course! Mom doesn't know how to draw arrows on her pictures, so hopefully you can see it anyway. The little boxes on the bottom right hand side show you how far away you had to be. 10 feet laterally and 15 feet to the tunnel.

Mom also learned you can't go from contact to contact so we went over the Aframe, over a jump, wrapped back and mom sent me flyng! I think she was very proud of me.

Somehow I think Sister Kiana has a lot of fight left in her! Her she plays a game of "Drag" with Flirtie.

Personally this gives me the opportunity to sneak away to perform a Squeakectomy...darn it, Mom caught me!

Dylan Does it Again!

Mom is jumping up and down again, my son, Dylan won Winner's Dog again today and Best of Opposite Sex. Now he has 11 points!! Go Son Go!!

Ten ten ten

My son has TEN POINTS NOW!!! Go Little Dylan. My son went Winner's Dog today for one more single....so now he is 2/3 of his way to his CHAMPIONSHIP! Who can resist that cute face?

It's Show Time!

This weekend was the annual Northern California Vizsla Specialty. Mom has been going on and on and on about this show for weeks! Enough already, Mom! She was very excited Sister Kiana made it a whole year and got to show again! I reminded her to pack her waterproof mascara and kleenex for the trip. And what thanks did I get..I got left at home! Gasp! Mom and Sister Kiana got kisses and hugs from almost everybody.

It was a Tivoliz Weekend! My son, Dylan, took Reserve Winner's Dog to a 5 point major!

His half-brother Rocky won his class and Q took an AWARD OF MERIT! Then today Rocky took Reserve winners Dog! And Dylan won his class again. Here is Rocky The Rock Star showing his great genes off!

Even Flirtie got to practice being a show dog today!

Here's a shout out to Miss Susan and Q who went Back to Back Best of Breed at the Reno Kennel Club shows Saturday and Sunday!! WOOHOO!! As you can see, she was Born to be a STAR!

What do Miracle look like?

See for yourself. Sister Kiana's miracle pills are working over time. Here she was two weeks ago. See the lymph nodes swollen in her neck. It hung down like a turkey neck over the top of her collar.
